 Hi! Kenny and I would like to welcome you to the Mt. Olive Youth Group web page. Our youth group consists of teenagers beginning sixth grade through twelfth graders. We meet on Sunday nights from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. During this hour, lessons consist of life lessons with video applications, as well as times of quizzing and game playing. Our group participates in lots of fun activities. Each month we go somewhere in the community (ice skating, bowling, Bob Walther's, etc.). Every other Friday night during the school year we have Friday Night Light (FNL). This occurs at the church. Youth play video games, ping-pong, pool, foosball, etc... It is a fun, energetic way to spend a Friday night. Check out our Events Calendar for upcoming FNL events.
Our group also participates in the National Youth Conference. This event is in July. We go to Lake Williamson, IL for a three-day weekend filled with lots of excitement and times for growth. A nationally known speaker discusses pertinent information for teens, and cool bands and a great setting make the weekend complete. Our group works on growing closer to God and to one another. We do fundraising and service learning to be as well rounded as possible while following God's will for our lives. We would love to see you there!! Kenny & Connie Smith
